Last seen on the MPT stage as the new girl in town in Spitfire Grill, Natalie Miller is back on the main stage as the hometown sweetheart that never left in Big Fish!
How many Middleton Players Theatre shows have you performed in?
This is my third production with Middleton Players Theatre! My first production was Sunday in the Park with George in 2016.
What role do you play and what is your favorite part about that character?
I play the character Jenny Hill. I love that although she doesn’t ultimately end up with the man she loves, she still only speaks highly of him to his son when they meet.
What is your favorite song from Big Fish?
Big Fish revolves around a man who tells big stories about his life that seem unbelievable. What's something true from your life that sounds unbelievable?
I once made my family pull over so that I could hug a wild donkey on the side of the road.
Why should someone come see Big Fish?
People should come see Big Fish because it deals with so many aspects of the human experience that anyone from 9-99 years old will be able to relate to. It has the elements of a fast-paced, glitzy Broadway musical while also having characters grounded in the reality of what it means to be human. Also, the cast of local performers is incredible!
What does it mean for you to be able to perform for your friends, family and community?
It always makes me feel so grateful to realize how much support I have around me!!
Big Fish the musical will perform at the Middleton Performing Arts Center June 14-16 and June 21-23. Tickets to this show and discounted season tickets to all 3 of our summer shows can be purchased online or at the box office. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount!
